Details of the Serious Charges Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous acts of sexual assault – comprising some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 and 2021. One senior CPS official commented, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, carefully reviewing the evidence to establish that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.” The Police Inquiry These allegations follow what police called a “complex investigation” into alleged sexual offences at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital. The defendant will appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th. List of Charges The charging documents said the forty-five sexual offences he is charged with: Fifteen counts of assault. 17 counts of assault by penetration. 9 counts of assault on a minor under thirteen. Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen. 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration. Police have asked anyone with concerns to contact the relevant police force.
