2025's Premier Scary Feature Comes Back to IMAX Perfectly Timed for October Festivities

Arriving just as October scares starts, among the most acclaimed thrilling features of the past few years is set for a limited comeback to theaters, on this occasion exclusively in IMAX format.

Premium Format Exclusive Screening Particulars

The feature titled Sinners: The Tale, that's helmed by the acclaimed director, will be shown again in select IMAX locations starting Oct. 30, and will an exclusive week-long screening ending on the 5th of November.

For those who watched the film throughout its first release, you're aware the sheer fantastic chance this offers for one more viewing in a theater.

But, should your original screening wasn’t in IMAX, this is your chance to fix that, because Sinners looks absolutely stunning when shown on a IMAX screen.

Given the fact its first cinema release ended early when it came to IMAX showings, as a result of a different release taking over IMAX theaters just two weeks after release, this might even be the very first option to see this story in large format.

Haven't Seen This Horror Hit? It's the Time!

Alternatively, maybe you haven’t watched the film yet. Under those circumstances, now is the moment to correct that situation.

There is no better period to watch a scary feature, most notably one that transforms scary movies.

Happily, the director brings notable experience doing just that, having done the same for fighting movies plus comic book movies.

What he created is a thrilling yet profoundly horrific tale packed with violence, family trauma, lost love, vampires, and Michael B. Jordan taking on a double part as twins named the twins Smoke & Stack.

Director's Insights on Casting

The team invited Michael B. Jordan to do this difficult thing from a technical standpoint, portraying a pair of separate roles, and it involved a portrayal that we needed to include the backstory that we had before to succeed in this.
Observing him acknowledged by his peers and additional people in Hollywood, I believe it would signify a lot to him.

Upcoming Work in Coogler's Pipeline

Looking ahead, it appears that Sinners certainly provided Ryan Coogler the inspiration to continue exploring scary storytelling.

Coogler has previously shared a new X-Files currently being developed.

Speaking about what else is behind his choice to reboot the classic franchise, he explained:

Just as with my connection to Rocky through my dad, this series holds a special place to my mom.
My mom is everything in my life — she’s actually in attendance today — making this an important endeavor for me.
I aim to do justice with her plus the audience. My mother has seen part of the stuff I developed for the reboot. My mom is fired up.

Final Chance to See The Film

There’s no telling at what time the director's version of The X-Files will make to the public.

Still, viewers receive one more chance to watch his genuinely amazing film during its return on the big screen on October 30.
